Future Hospital

The Future Hospital Project is the redevelopment of the State of Jersey’s district general hospital. As the clinical planning lead for the project, MJ Medical supported the States of Jersey in developing the business case for the hospital. This included developing acute service plans for all departments, helping to determine the clinical vision, and contributing to the options appraisal process.

Once approved, we translated the business case into operational principles and a clinical design brief and contribute more detailed inputs into the design development process. MJ Medical will go on to support the design team through the detailed design stages providing equipment planning and Building Information Modelling and 1:50 room by room equipment layouts.
