Working as part of the Arup client advisory team, MJ Medical are the technical advisors to Alberta Health Services (AHS), overseeing the health facility planning and the equipment and technology design for the project.
We supported AHS in evaluating the clinical designs, drawings, and reports being developed by the design and construction team, ensuring they were fit for purpose from a health and equipment planning viewpoint. We provided technical information and advice in identifying and specifying leading diagnostic and treatment equipment modalities, ensuring the design was able to support cutting edge clinical functionality.
"The Calgary Cancer Centre will achieve exceptional patient experience because patients and their families have been integral in working with project leadership and staff. We have been involved in shaping this project and the Calgary Cancer Centre from the very beginning and through every step of the way"
Charlotte Kessler, Patient Advisor Co-Chair, Patient & Family Advisory Council
