Project overview
The 100-bed hospital is fully integrated with King’s College Hospital London’s delivery model and a significant proportion of its workforce includes experienced UK clinicians.
MJ Medical supported Ashmore Group, the project investor, during the inception stage to help develop their ideas. As part of our services, we reviewed the business model and functional programme and translated it into a clinical design brief with clinical and operational flows

MJ Medical utilised our wealth of experience in the Middle East to create a brief for a world class facility sensitive to local cultural and socio-economic considerations. Engaging with the clinicians at Kings College Hospital London, we ensured the care model to be utilised in the hospital was fully supported by its design.
In tandem with this we undertook a due diligence review of the demand, workforce and financial business model. Working with the design team as the clients’ design champion, we advised on the hospital design and reviewed the design drawings to ensure they delivered the requirements of the brief. We incorporated equipment and technology planning, procurement and installation services throughout the design development and construction period.
