MJ Medical finalises equipment procurement for Trowbridge ICC
MJ Medical ensured completion of the procurement, delivery, and installation of equipment to Trowbridge Integrated Care Centre (TICC) in preparation for opening day. The 1350m2 facility will provide a wide range of healthcare services to the Trowbridge community, including MIU, Xray, outpatients, physiotherapy, podiatry, and maternity outpatient services.
MJ Medical was responsible for coordinating the specification, procurement, delivery, placement, and commissioning of group 2 and 3 equipment on behalf of TICC and in partnership with NHS Property Services and Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon & Wiltshire Integrated Care Board. Following the final confirmation of the equipment lists and specifications, the leading international healthcare planning consultancy completed the procurement and delivery within a compressed programme of just under 12 weeks.
Alison Halmshaw, Associate Director at Archus, who oversaw project management for the TICC project, said:
“MJ Medical’s equipment management was seamless, they progressed the procurement efficiently, worked closely with suppliers to ensure equipment was ordered, received, and transferred to the site in good working order and within a tight deadline. They played a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth transition from construction completion to operational readiness.”
